BITHYNIA, Nicomedia. Pupienus. AD 238. Æ (31mm, 20.62 g, 1h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Tyche seated left, holding hexastyle temple in each hand. RG –; SNG Von Aulock 807-8; SNG Copenhagen –. Dark brown patina, rough in areas, a couple tiny spots of verdigris. VF. Extremely rare, only two specimens, including this coin, in CoinArchives.
