CARIA, Kaunos. Circa 450-430 BC. AR Stater (22mm, 11.83 g, 12h). Winged female figure in kneeling-running stance left, head right, holding kerykeion and wreath / Baetyl(?), with “handles” at apex, pelleted fields with raised patterns resembling birds to either side, all within incuse square. Konuk 87 (O30/R328); SNG Keckman 791. Lightly toned, somewhat weakly struck at bottom of obverse. VF. Rare. Struck from a graceful obverse die.
