Procopius. Usurper, AD 365-366. Æ (16mm, 2.21 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Pearl-diademed and cuirassed bust right / Emperor standing facing, head right, holding labarum and shield; Christogram in upper right field; [SMN...]. RIC IX –; LRBC –. Dark green patina with earthen deposits, cleaning marks and scratches. Good Fine. Although of an uncertain mint, right facing bronzes of Procopiuis are seldom encountered and always very rare.
