CILICIA, Tarsos. Circa 410 BC. AR Stater (22.5mm, 10.37 g, 12h). Male figure, wearing satrapal dress, holding flower in right hand and rein in left, on horse galloping left; two lances in background / Archer, wearing quiver and bow case on far hip, kneeling right, drawing bow; to left, astragalos above arm, TRZ (in Aramaic) below; grain ear to right; all in dotted square within incuse square. Casabonne Type G1; Müseler, Tarsos, Group 5, m var. (bee on obv.); SNG BN 214 var. (same); SNG Levante –; SNG von Aulock –. Toned, partial find patina, small delaminations on obverse. Good VF.
