ΑΥ Κ Μ ΑΝ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟC CЄ, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / ΑΦΡΟΔЄΙCΙЄΩΝ, cult statue of Aphrodite of Aphrodisias right between seated priestess and fountain; on either side, Eros on cippus holding torch towards Aphrodite. RPC VII.1 618.4 (this coin illustrated); MacDonald Type 180, dies O229/R418; Hunterian 4; BMC 126; Cornell 105 (this coin). Dark brown patina, earthen highlights. Good VF.
