C CAESAR AVG GERMANICVS PON M TR POT, bare head left / VESTA above, S C across field, Vesta, veiled and draped, seated left on ornamental throne, holding patera in right hand and transverse scepter in left. Cf. RIC I 38; cf. BMCRE 45-48; cf. BN 54-72. Hard dark green patina, earthen highlights. Choice EF. Vigorous provincial style. Extraordinary detail on the ornamental throne.
