H[A]DRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare head right / ANNO NA AVG, modius, with poppy between four stalks of grain–two left and two right. RIC II.3 2318; Strack 227δο; RSC 172; BMCRE 596-8. Handsome tone, fully lustrous. Superb EF. Struck with very fresh dies. A wonderful example of the type.
