Head of young Dionysos right, hair in band and wreath of ivy with berries at the tip / Herakles standing left, right hand on club set on ground, lion skin draped over left arm; HPAKΛEOVΣ to right, ΣΩTHPOΣ to left, ΘAΣIΩN in exergue; ΔI monogram to inner left. Prokopov, Silberprägung, Group I, 4 (V A2/R 4); Le Rider, Thasiennes 51; HGC 6, 358; ANS inv. 1965.275.13 (same dies); Boston MFA 869; Gulbenkian 891. Light golden tone, minor marks, light pitting on reverse. Near EF. Well centered. Interesting and attractive style.
