Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; no control marks. Thompson –; Müller –; Mektepini 232 (same dies); CNG 87, lot 276–7 (same obv. die); CNG E-399, lot 26 (same obv. die). Deep iridescent tone. EF.

Thompson 242 records a type without control marks attributed to Pella, but the style and fabric of this piece is distinctly different from the norm at that mint.
