POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (50 mm tall x 90 mm wide). The lid of an Apulian Lekanis lid with a design of two Ladies of Fashion separated by two rosettes. A running wavy pattern is present on the lip of the lid. The edged lid has a central knobbed handle that rises from the center of the lid. A rosette is painted atop the recessed top of the knob. The piece has been broken and repaired from a few fragments.
