Claudius II Gothicus. AD 268-270. Antoninianus (19mm, 2.80 g, 12h). Reverse Brockage. Rome mint(?). AD 268-269. Incuse and reverse of reverse / Salus standing left, holding scepter and feeding from patera a serpent rising from altar to left. Cf. RIC V 98 (for possible issue); cf. Normanby 608 (same). Glossy dark brown patina with some green. VF. A wonderfully struck reverse brockage with attractive surfaces.
