Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield / Cross potent set on three steps, flanked by crowned facing figures of Heraclius and Tiberius, both wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger; S+//CONOB. DOC (9) var. (unlisted officina); MIB 8a (same obv. die as illustration); SB 1156A var. (same). Toned, clipping, trace obverse die rust, a few light scratches. Near EF. From the Richard J. Sullivan Collection.

Extremely rare in this officina. Only one example noted in a museum collection by Hahn in MIB. None in CoinArchives. From a scarce and seemingly small issue with many other reverse dies paired with this obverse die (1st officina – MIB 8b and 10th officina – Heritage 61426, 23108 as two examples).
