Illuminated leaf containing Psalms 149: 8b-9 and 150 (in the Vulgate) followed by the prayer Te Laudant Angeli Sancta Dei including the lines “Te laudant angeli sancta dei genetrix quae virum non cognovisti.” From a prayer book worthy of someone of some means for the time. Gold, red, blue, green, and white illumination. Slight wrinkling, a couple small holes, old code and price penciled in at lower margin. Good VF.
