POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (125 mm wide x 60 mm tall). A complex Blackware cup with flatfoot, squat body with stamped rosettes at the edge of the neck. Each rosette is separated by a line defining segments in the body. The neck is squat and wide, supporting a flared rounded lip. A single handle extends from the lip to the body. Patina and minor encrustations present. Handle reattached. Wonderful black glaze and attractive in hand.
