Laureate head right / Nilus reclining left on crocodile to right, holding a reed and cornucopia from which emerges a Genius; Iς above; L A (date) in exergue. Köln 440; Dattari (Savio) 971; K&G 27.1; RPC III 4120; Emmett 550.1. Brown patina, light porosity, flan flaw at edge, minor scratches. Near VF.

The Greek numerals “Iς” to the right of the Genius indicate 16 cubits, the optimal flood level height of the Nile during the wet season.
