POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (75 mm tall x 135 mm wide). A raised footed bowl with 2 handles on either side, the foot stands flat with a short stem holding up a wide, deep bowl with small handles. The bowl is painted both inside and out with black lines defining the handles and both edges of the bowl, the lip and the visible base. Internally, the bowl has a large wide black circle at the bottom of the vessel and a second line just inside the lip. A few tiny voids on body and minor chipping at foot. Intact. |
