Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, resting arm on shield, transverse spear in background; two monograms to inner left; in exergue, head of lion left. Thompson –; Müller –; HGC 3, 1750a; ANS Seyrig cast 160.16 (same dies); SNG Berry 402 var. (different monograms; same obv. die). Toned, a few light scuffs, some die wear and marks on obverse, test cut on edge. Good VF. Rare.
