CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS, The Sindoi. Circa 400 BC. AR Diobol (14mm, 0.89 g, 1h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Head of horse right within incuse square. Frolova, frühe, Type II; Anokhin 1196; MacDonald 80; HGC 7, 2. Toned, some find patina, scratches and scrapes, die break on obverse, bankers’ marks(?) on reverse. Fine.
