Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; bee in left field; below throne, monogram above M. Price 3620a; Waggoner Issue II, Series 1, dies 31/– (unlisted rev. die; bee symbol unlisted with this obv. die); CNG E-552, lot 43 = CNG 42, lot 261 (same dies). Toned, some porosity and marks, a few light scratches on reverse. VF.

From the Kelly J. Krizan, M.D. Collection.

The entry for Price 3620 notes a strut on the throne separating the monogram and letter M, but not all examples have this feature. In fact, Price illustrates two examples, one with (3620b) and one without (3620a) the strut.
