Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator holding scroll; nimbus with five pellets in each double-lined arm / Manuel standing facing, wearing crown and jeweled chlamys, holding labarum and patriarchal globus cruciger; manus Dei above; nine jewels on collar, seven in chlamys end. DOC 1e; SB 1956. Lightly toned with some luster, obverse doubling, edge crimp, graffiti in margins. Near EF. An outstanding strike. Lot includes a David Sear certificate of authenticity.
