JUDAEA, Ascalon. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ (21mm, 10.11 g, 12h). Bare head right / Tyche-Astarte standing left on prow, holding scepter and aplustre; to left, dove standing right. RPC I 4877-79; Rosenberger 74-77. Dark green and brown patina, roughness on reverse making the date difficult to read. Near VF. Regardless of date, all of these issues are rare.
