POTTERY. Cypriot Iron Age. Geometric Period. c. 900-600 BCE. (140 mm tall x 105 mm wide). A round bodied jug with single handle and long neck with slightly trumpeted lip. The pitcher is painted in a marron glaze, large hatch marks of rows of 4 or 5 lines form multiple X’s across the body. The neck is adorned with several vertical bands as is the handle. Some light encrustations. Small void on body. Painted details fairly complete. Intact.
