EGYPT, Alexandria. Otacilia Severa. Augusta, AD 244-249. Potin Tetradrachm (21mm, 11.21 g, 11h). Dated RY 3 of Philip I (AD 245/6). Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Bust of Hermanubis right, wearing calathus with taenia and lotus petals, drapery on left shoulder; to right, winged caduceus with palm frond; L Γ (date) to left. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 4981; K&G 75.29; RPC VIII Online 2683; Emmett 3552.3 (R4). Dark brown patina, slight roughness. VF. Extremely rare, only three known to RPC, superior to any illustrated.
