EGYPT, Alexandria. Philip II. As Caesar, AD 244-247. Potin Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.15 g, 12h). Dated RY 3 of Philip I (AD 245/6). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Bust of Nilus right, crowned with taenia and lotus buds, drapery on left shoulder; before, cornucopia; L Γ (date) to left. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 5034 = RPC VIII Online 2916 = Figari & Mosconi 1572 (this coin); K&G 76.23; Emmett 3600.3 (R4). Dark brown patina, die break on reverse, small flan crack, silvering remaining. Near EF. Extremely rare, only four known to RPC, including this coin.
