Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.43 g, 7h). Ephesus mint. Struck AD 70. IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS II TR P P P, Laureate head right / AVG above monogram; all within oak wreath. RIC II.1 1414 (R3); cf. RPC II 822; RSC –. Lightly toned, hairline flan crack. Good VF. When Ian Carradice and Ted Buttrey produced the second fully revised edition of RIC II.1 they knew of only one example.
