Titus. As Caesar, AD 69-79. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.00 g, 6h). Antioch (or Tyre?) mint. Struck under Vespasian, AD 72-73. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Neptune standing left, with right foot on globe, holding acrostolium and scepter. RIC II.1 1561 (Vespasian); RPC II 1933; RSC 122 corr. (Neptune left, not right). Slightly iridescent tone, shallow scratch on obverse, a few hairline flan cracks, traces of deposits on reverse, which is struck slightly off center. Near EF.
