Diademed head right, with elderly features / Herakles seated left on rock, holding club set on rocks; monogram below rock. Bopearachchi 16A (second example) = H.-P. Francfort, “Deux nouveau tétradrachmes commémoratifs d’Agathocle,” in RN 1975, 1 (this coin); MPHB Group I (Euthydemus Commemorative), 199 = Berlin 1879/234 (same dies); SNG ANS –; Zeno –; HGC 12, 109. Light iridescent toning, areas of find patina and deposits, porosity, pit on obverse, cleaning marks, smoothing. VF. Second known example, unrecorded in MPHB.
