Oak wreath between two laurel branches / Legend around large S • C; c/ms: divinity standing left, wearing crescent headdress, within oval incuse; nailed helmet within round incuse. Cf. RIC I 370; c/m: Pangerl 65 and 66. Green patina, holed, very worn. Host coin: Poor; c/ms: Near VF. These countermarks are attributed to Sicily, perhaps to Syracuse?. |
