POTTERY. Magna Graecia. Campania. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (110 mm tall x 100 mm wide). A Blackware cup with ribbed body supported by small, squat round foot. The round body abruptly shifts into a tall, wide neck that remains open to form a simple lip. A handle attaches at the neck and upper body. Patina present. Some loss of glaze at foot and minor chips on body, neck and lip. Reassembled with one small spot on lip consisting of foreign material. Otherwise quite attractive.
