Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (21.5mm, 2.47 g, 6h). Legionary issue. Londinium (London) mint. [IMP(?)] CARAVSI VS AVG, radiate, helmeted, and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over shoulder and shield / LEG [XXX] VLPIA, Neptune standing left, holding dolphin and trident; ML. Cf. RIC V 84-85 (for similar). Dark green patina, chipped, some roughness. Good VF. Unpublished and possibly unique. None in CoinArchives.
