Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (23mm, 5.48 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Pax standing left, holding olive branch and transverse scepter; F|O//ML. RIC V 119 var. (obv. legend). Dark brown patina. Near EF. Well-struck. A wonderful portrait of Carausius and with much of the die engraver’s centering circle circle visible on the reverse.
