Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (25mm, 4.96 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / FIDE IXERC, Fides standing left, holding a signa in both hands. Cf. RIC V 780 (for similar issue). Dark brown patina with some toned partial silvering, some light roughness. Near EF. Possibly unique. None in CoinArchives. Struck on a hefty and broad flan and with great detail.
