POTTERY. Greece. Attica. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (20 mm tall x 95 mm wide). A painted ceramic medallion restored from two halves. A central concave medallion with flattened central circle presents 7 black and white painted doves. Above, a single blackened circle with 8 and 1 dots (solar representation?) between doves. The lower lip has two rows of hearts surrounding. Minor loss of paint on lip. A neat little piece.
