GLASS. Roman. 2nd – 4th Cent. CE. (160 mm tall x 110 mm wide). A tall pitcher with large bulbous body, elongated neck with a trumpeted folded lip forming the spout. A handle extends from the lip to the shoulder behind the spout. Some encrustations and patina present. A large crack on the piece extends from the back of the lip, down the back of the neck to mid shoulder, otherwise intact. |
