Laureate head right / Pulvinar (throne) of Minerva: crested Corinthian helmet set on draped square seat. RIC II.1 271 (Titus); RSC 399a. Lightly toned, underlying luster, light scrape on reverse. EF.

This "Atonement Series" denarius type is only found for Domitian. It portrays the Helmet of Minerva who would quickly become the favorite God of Domitian.
