Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Sestertius (30.5mm, 25.05 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 136. Bareheaded and draped bust right / Roma Aeterna seated right, holding scepter and Victory. RIC II.3 2283 (R2); Banti 688. Brown patina, areas of smoothing and roughness, edge split. Near VF. None in CoinArchives. No photo or line drawing in Banti. Only one example in Online Coins of the Roman Empire (OCRE). Extremely rare.

The example plated in RIC II.3 is in the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Another specimen was known to Strack in a private collection in Vienna. This is perhaps the fourth known.
