Azes seated cross-legged on cushion, holding whip and sword; uncertain Kharosthi letter (jha or or na) to left / Hermes standing left, raising hand and holding kerykeion (caduceus); uncertain controls in fields. Cf. Senior 107 (for type); cf. HGC 12, 672 (same). Rough dark brown surfaces, worn at high points, areas of encrustation and pitting, cleaning marks. Fine.
