PAMPHYLIA, Side. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (35mm, 21.52 g, 1h). Homonoia with Perge. Laurate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Athena standing right, holding spear vis-à-vis Artemis Pergaia, radiate and holding long torch, standing left, both sacrificing over lighted and garlanded altar between them; pomegranate above. Franke & Nollé 1872-6 (VsA/Rs2); RPC VII.2 2596.6 (this coin); SNG BN 859 var. (stag at Artemis’ feet); SNG Pfälzer 758. Rough brown patina, deposits, areas of chipped patina. Good Fine. Very rare.
