REPRODUCTIONS, LUCANIA. Kaulonia. Circa 525-500 BC. Cast “AR Nomos” (29mm, 10.16 g, 12h). Derived from a British Museum electrotype ([MB] on reverse). Apollo advancing right, holding branch aloft in right hand, left arm extended, upon which a small daimon, holding branch in each hand, runs right; KAVΛ to left; to right, stag standing right, head reverted; dot-and-cable border / Incuse of obverse, but no daimon or ethnic; radiate border. Cf. Head, Guide, Period I.C.17 (for electrotype); cf. GPCG pl. 6, 13 (for prototype). Toned. As made.
