Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22.5mm, 3.11 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Prince standing left, holding signa and vertical scepter. RIC V 947 corr. (bust type); Hunter 187. Dark green patina, struck from a worn reverse die, reverse slightly off center. VF. Extremely rare. R2 in RIC. One in CoinArchives.
