OIL LAMP. Roman. 2nd – 3rd Cent. CE. A molded oil lamp with central image of a woman facing, wearing large headdress. There is a hole to the left of the figure. All within a double linear border and defined edge. To one end, a non-volute type squat nozzle with hole at the end. To the opposite of the nozzle, a well formed handle with central piercing for access. The lamp is ridged at base nearest to lid. On the bottom, a stamp of I SAIΛONIA V and graffito under reading AIAO. Red slip and darkened areas still present. Intact.
