THRACO-MACEDONIAN TRIBES, Orreskioi. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Tristater (31mm, 18.57 g). Herdsman, wearing petasos and holding two spears, guiding two bulls right / Quadripartite incuse square. Tzamalis, Ethné, Group A1, D1/R1; Peykov A0550; HPM pl. V, 1 = Gulbenkian 437 = Jameson 956 (same dies); HGC 3, 317. Toned, much find patina, heavily corroded surfaces. Fine. Extremely rare small incuse tristater, only one noted by Tzamalis, and this is the sole example in CoinArchives.
