Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (24.5mm, 5.30 g, 7h). Londinium (London) mint. Radiate and draped bust right / Salus standing left, holding scepter and feeding serpent from patera which is coiled about and rising from altar at feet to left; F|O//ML. RIC V 155 var. (mint mark). Dark brown patina. Good VF. Very rare. Struck on a hefty flan.
