Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (23.5mm, 5.36 g, 8h). ‘C’ mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and draped bust right / VICTO R IA AVG, Victory advancing right, holding wreath and palm frond; CXXI. Cf. RIC V 429 (for similar issue). Dark red-brown patina, roughness, minor cleaning scratches. Near VF. Rare. Unlisted in RIC V with Victory right paired with this mint mark.
