STATUARY. CHINA. In the style of the Tang Dynasty. Mold formed hollow body statue 225 mm tall by 50 mm wide. A Tang Dynasty attendant figure, depicted in a standing posture with hands clasped together in front of the body. The figure has a rounded face, with the facial features subtly defined, though slightly worn due to age. The figure wears a traditional Tang attire, and the head is adorned with a simple, rounded headdress. The surface of the figure shows significant signs of wear, with the original details and possible paint having faded over time, giving it a rustic, time-worn appearance.
