POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (45 mm wide x 110 mm tall). A Blackware Lekanthis with a thick foot supporting a long, thin body that tapers abruptly into a long, skinny neck. The lip of the piece is slightly trumpeted. A handle extends from the neck to the shoulder. A design of vertical lines decorate the shoulder. At one point over the shoulder, a series of dots. Handle and spout/lip reattached. Some loss of glaze and light chipping.
