POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (105 mm wide x 155 mm tall). A Gnathian oinochoe with an extensive vine work pattern and swan on the body. The squat neck has several registers of V shaped figures with dots within boxes, a running wavey line, and a running design of dots. The piece terminates in a trefoil spout from which a handle extends in the back of the piece to the base of the shoulder. Patina present. Some minor loss to glaze at lip, handle and foot. Intact.
