POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (170 mm wide x 150 mm tall). A Blackware guttus with a tall foot and long spout with a flared lip. A handle extends from the body 90 degrees from the spout. Body has engraved linear designs on sides, in the center, the head of a gorgoneion. Repaired break on stem of foot and loss of chips on nozzle lip. Wear of glaze at high points. A very large piece for the type. Foot reattached.
