Head of young Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath / Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club in right hand, lion skin draped over left arm; no monogram. Cf. Lukanc 1304 var. (monogram); OTA Class IV/1; KMW 1519 var. (M monogram); Lanz 980. Artificially toned, pitted, scratches, smoothed and tooled. VF. Rare without a monogram, it is possible that it was removed during the smoothing process. |
