Two hoplites, holding shields, on galley left; below, hippocamp left / Griffin seated right, raising forepaw. Cf. E&E-B Group V.1 (griffin seated left); HGC 10, –. Toned, some roughness on obverse, slightly off center on reverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, unpublished variety. |
